Lesson of the Week: Doing Things That Donāt Scale
This week, I sent personalized Looms to a few dream companies Iād love to collaborate with. It only took 10 minutes per video, and I tailored each one to their current content strategy ā whatās working, whatās missing, and how I could help.
Itās easy to default to generic outreach, but this felt way more human (and honestly, more fun). Weāll see if it pays off, but the act of making them reminded me:
ā People hire people who care
ā Video shows tone and enthusiasm better than words ever can
ā Real examples > a stack of links
Tool I Used: Loom (again and always).
If youāre a service provider or freelancer, try this approach with one potential client this week and see what happens.

P.S. if you want to give Loom a try, you can check it out here.
š Currently Reading: Entrepreneur Revolution
I just started reading Entrepreneur Revolution by Daniel Priestley, and Iām furiously taking notes. Itās about ditching the outdated 9ā5 industrial-era mindset and stepping into the creator/entrepreneur era ā the kind I talk about here every week.

I loved this quote:
āThere are only two choices in life: build your own dream or be hired by someone else to build theirs.ā

Whatās Going On In My World
Iāve launched a paid version of the newsletter!
Iāve officially soft-launched the paid tier of Creator Diariesāwhere Iāll go deeper into personal essays, behind-the-scenes building content, and in-depth interviews. More to come, but itās live if you want in early and want to support the mission.

Office hours are still open ā just a few spots left for May.
Iāve been hosting open office hours the past few weeks and theyāve been incredibly energizing. Iām pulling together a full post on what Iāve learned so far, but if you want to grab one of the last May slots, theyāre still open.š
Iām available for a writing project in June!
I have one client slot open for June ā ideally a ghostwriting or content strategy project. If you need help turning ideas into high-impact content or want to revamp some blog content, feel free to reach out.
New tutorial: how I write with Chat GPT Deep Research.
I recorded a quick Loom on how I use ādeep research modeā to write better articlesāespecially for content that needs a level of depth. (Spoiler alert: itās life changing!) If youāre curious about my process, give it a watch.
